D&G Abilene Event Draws 888 Entries

The second stop on the Bar None 2000 Tour held in Abilene, TX over the Easter weekend saw 888 barrel racers competing for $36,920.

The Easter weekend proved to be a barrel racers bonanza, with 4 major events going on a barrel racer could choose an event that best suited their needs.. D&G proved to be one of the favorite choices. Entries from 11 states traveled to the Taylor County Expo Center to compete on the now famous D&G ground. Phil Goostree prepared the arena for excellent footing and this was proved out by all contestants having the opportunity to run on equal ground.

Kelly Kaminski, Sealy, TX pocketed $2,054.10 for winning the 2nd and 3rd races. Complete results can be found on the results page.

The next stop on the D&G Bar None 2000 Tour is San Antonio, May 27-29 at the San Antonio Rose Palace. Entries close for this show on May 5, 2000. We look forward to seeing y’all in San Antonio for another fun filled weekend of barrel racing.
