2009 BBR Finals World Show Qualifier

Co-approved WPRA (WPRA girls & junior members wanting credit for this event make sure your name/card # is on the list in the office please). Reminder only 1D money won counts (sidepots at this event do not count) and this event does NOT count towards your rodeo count or circuit finals or NFR qualifications.

Stalls (I have about 20 stalls available in the main barn). $50/weekend - 1 bag shavings included (stalls are on concrete)
Some of the outter stall barns are wet and flooded due to all the recent rains (right now I still have stalls in the main barn).
Stalls will be pre-assigned and your name tag WILL BE on your stall. Please do no switch stalls! If you do not have a stall reserved call Renea 641-743-8223 to have on reserved for you or see the show office upon arrival. Stalls open 7 am Friday. Early arrivals must have prior approval with Renea and will be charged $15/night to get into stalls Thursday night.

Shavings - available at the show - beginning 9 am Friday until 9 pm Friday (you are welcome to bring your own).

Electrical Hookups - no reservations taken -(very limited) first come first served (electrical hook up fees collected by the i90 staff at the concession stand). If you have a generator it may be a good idea to bring one.

Vendors - must pre-register with Renea 641-743-8223 and pay a vendor fee. Anyone charging for services or items for sale must register with the show office PRIOR to the event.

Late Entries - taken through draw 50 in each race (late draw posted after draw 50 - big drag). LATE ENTRIES CASH ONLY - No checks taken on-site. Late fee $15/day/rider. Side-pot entries may be added up until 11 am Saturday with no late fee (sidepots $20 entry fee $500 added to sidepots)

Payback - 100% added money - 75% entry fees

GROUND RULE - ABSOLUTELY NO HORSES WILL BE TIED IN THE MAIN BUILDING (where arena is located) AT ANY TIME! Last weekend, there were horses tied up and down the alleyway and to the arena fence (we will NOT allow this). THERE WILL BE A LIMITED NUMBER OF HORSES ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING DURING THE RACES SO THAT EVERYONE HAS ROOM TO WARM UP. Please be courteous to your fellow contestants and exit the building with your horse when your run is complete so that everyone has the same opportunity to warm up. Do NOT stand in the alleyway holding your horse please reserve that area for those trying to ride and warm up. THAT NUMBER WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE SHOW. Also please remember we do NOT allow dogs in the main building during the event. These rules WILL BE enforced. Thank you.

12 - 4:30 pm 30 minute riding sessions $10 each (barrels setup) limit 10 people per session (no ponying horses in arena during sessions)
5-6:15 pm Exhibitions $4 each - 60 sec limit (tickets sold in show office) all tickets must be turned in by 6 pm to have your name on the list at the gate
Exhibitions are timed and on the stakes
7 pm Race 1 $1000 added $35 entry fee (late entries taken through draw 50 - late entries cash only)
Arena closed

SATURDAY
8 am - 9:00 am 30 minute riding sessions $10 each (barrels setup) limit 10 people per session (no ponying horses in arena during sessions)
9:30-10:15 am Exhibitions $4 each - 60 sec limit (tickets sold in show office) all tickets must be turned in by 6 pm to have your name on the list at the gate
Exhibitions are timed and on the stakes
11:00 am Race 2 $2000 added $55 entry fee (late entries taken through draw 50 - late entries cash only)
Exhibitions immediately following this race (30 total) $4 each sign up in show office and we will call your name in order signed up

Saturday evening - (Star time TBA) team sorting event by I90 Expo Center - in main arena - demonstrations before they start - novice classes - everyone welcome to enter and have some fun!
