The first stop on the Classic Equine 2001 D&G Super Tour was held on  February 9-11 at the Beauregard Parrish Civic Center in DeRidder, LA.  Despite the cold weather moving in, the heat was on in arena.

 The first and last 1D races were won by Amanda Rutledge and Tidy Fortune,  Bellville, TX. The pair pocketed $966.91 for the weekend.  Also winning  loads, was Cary Quakenbush and View This Jet, Mt. Juliet, TN.  Cary and Jet  placed in all three races in the 1D and loaded up with $1,339.74 to take  back to Tennessee.  Winning the second race was Susan Delcambre aboard  Hankins Dirty Harry, Broussard, LA.  The pair pocketed $701.28 in 15.995  seconds.
