Double B Productions finished its inaugural season with a total cash payout of $87,520. Over $20,000 in awards and prizes were also given away during the first Barrel Bash series including; 37 buckles, 13 saddles 11 breast collars, and 8 winter horse blankets along with many other sponsored awards.

The top rider of the 2000 series was Virgina Evans of Bertrand, NE, winning $2,851. The top paying show of the series was Fremont, NE, paying out an impressive $35,092 with 872 entries from 11 states. Other shows in 2000 included Waterloo, IA, paying back $23,634, and Columbia, MO paying out $28,794 with entries from 12 states.

The 2001 series will feature 6 shows *(see schedule below) each adding $6,000 added money and giving away 8 buckles. Series saddles, and awards through 5^th place in each division of the 4D will be awarded at the season finale. (points stay with rider only) A new feature for this year’s series will be the hi-point senior rider saddle. This saddle will be awarded to the highest money winning senior rider (50 and over) of the 4D races for the series.

Entries are open now for the Fremont, NE Barrel Bash 2001 show, scheduled for April 13-15, 2001. Stalls are limited and filled early last year, so please send your stall reservations in early to be guaranteed a stall!
